Sesquicentennial Celebration - 150 Years August 6-9, 2009

Welcome

Welcome to the Vermillion Sesquicentennial web site! It is indeed a milestone in our history to be looking forward to celebrating 150 years of existence as a community. If you are a current resident, former resident, future resident or just interested in Vermillion, we solicit your input for ways to help us properly recognize and celebrate this occasion.

We are planning a year-long series of events throughout 2009, with the main dates of the celebration being Thursday August 6 through Sunday August 9, 2009. Tentative information about the activities being planned so far can be found by clicking on the "Outline of Events" button at the right.

Please contact us if you have ideas or suggestions for our Sesquicentennial. It will take many volunteers to make things happen, so your willingness to assist is encouraged as well. Please plan to visit us anytime, but for sure to help us celebrate in 2009!
