Missouri Valley Recycling Center

The Missouri Valley Recycling Center is a drop-off facility provided though the cooperative effort of cities and counties in Southeastern South Dakota. The facility is available to the public and businesses located in Clay, Yankton, and portions of Union County and is operated through the Joint Solid Waste Authority. The recycling program is supported through the sale of the materials and landfill fees.

Satellite Drop-off Trailers

Satellite recycling trailers accept only basic recyclables. For reasons of capacity and safety, cardboard and glass should NOT be deposited into the trailers. To avoid injury of recycling staff, glass is accepted ONLY at the Missouri Valley Recycling Center, located at 840 N Crawford.

PLEASE refrain from depositing garbage into the recycling trailers. Trash contaminates the approved clean recyclables deeming them non-recyclable.
