Prentis Plunge Pool 

Vermillion City Council has decided to keep Prentis Plunge Pool closed for the 2020 season due to concerns about the COVID-19 virus.

Location & Activities

The swimming pool is located in Prentis Park. The Prentis Plunge is home to:

  • Open-swims
  • Private parties
  • Swim team practices and meets
  • United Way / Red Cross Swim Lessons

and other special events. The water is heated and maintained at approximately 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The pool will not open if the air temperature is below 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
