NOTICE OF PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE
TO REVIEW CLAY COUNTY FLOODPLAIN MAPS
The South Dakota Office of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will host an open house event to allow the public to review and comment on Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) to be issued on January 23, 2019 for Clay County, South Dakota. Preliminary data can be viewed at the SD Map Journal by scrolling down to the very last tab.
Take notice that said open house event will be held at the Vermillion Fire EMS Station 1 in Vermillion, SD, on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 5:00-7:00 pm. All members of the public are welcome. Please contact José Domínguez, City Engineer at 605-677-7050 to determine if updated FIRMs were issued for your area.
