How long do I have to scoop my sidewalks after a snow storm?

You have 24 hours after any fall of snow or freezing rain to remove snow or spread a suitable material on the sidewalk to prevent the sidewalk from being slippery and dangerous to pedestrian travel. After 24 hours, if your sidewalk has not been cleared you will be fined. If necessary, the City will remove the snow/ice from your sidewalk at the property owner’s expense. Visit our Street Department page for more information on snow removal.
