    A copy of your South Dakota State Fire Marshal's License for Sale of Fireworks must accompany this application. If unable to upload the document, please mail a copy with the permit fee on the date of this application is submitted. 

    Applicants for permit to sell Legal Consumer Fireworks must first obtain a Retail Fireworks License from the South Dakota State Fire Marshal. The sale of Legal Consumer Fireworks is allowed in accordance with City codes and SDCL 34-37. The sale of Legal Consumer Fireworks must take place on property zoned for commercial use. The fee for the permit shall be set by resolution of the City Council. The City may deny a permit if a site, hours, or applicant is deemed unsuitable. The City may revoke a permit for any violation of City Ordinance Section 92.07.
